Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. exeton.com also uses your browser's local and session storage, which work in a similar way. Some of these are needed for the site to work. Others are for analytics and advertising, and depend on your choice.

These are always on, because the site cannot work properly without them:

• user_token (cookie, 30 days): keeps you signed in. It is HTTP-only, so page scripts cannot read it.
• exeton-consent (local storage): remembers your cookie choice.
• exeton_cart (local storage): keeps your cart between visits.
• user_auth_data (local storage): your name and email address after you sign in, so the page can show your account.
• exeton-theme (local storage): your light or dark display choice.
• checkout_draft, orderSuccess and orderSuccessPurchaseSent (session storage): keep your checkout details and order confirmation while the tab is open.
• exeton-compliance-signer (session storage): fills in your details on the next compliance form in the same tab.
• homepagePopupShown (session storage): stops the inquiry pop-up from opening twice in one visit.

We load these tools through Google Tag Manager:

• Google Analytics 4: how visitors use the site, which pages they view and which forms they send (cookies such as _ga and _ga_*).
• Google advertising measurement: whether our advertising leads to inquiries (cookies such as _gcl_au).
• Microsoft Clarity: how pages are used, through heatmaps and session replays (cookies such as _clck and _clsk).

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland these tools set no cookies until you select Accept. Elsewhere they are on unless you select Reject. Rejecting stops them from storing or reading cookies on this site; Google may still receive basic measurements without cookies.

Select Cookie settings in the site footer to change or withdraw your choice at any time. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser's settings.

Payments are taken in Airwallex's payment form, and the AI chat assistant is provided at chatbot.exeton.com. They may set their own cookies when you use them, under their own policies.
